we are migrating to canada and would like to know where we can find the lowest rented appartments. since we are new to vancouver , we want to know in which AREA we can get in cheap price.

Try Joyce-Collingwood area. It is close to the skytrain and central to everything. Bus system is good in this neighborhood as well. Being in a close proximity to the skytrain ensures you have access to the Downtown as well as far east to Surrey. The system covers the the major part of Metro Vancouver.
Alternatively, you can search for the apartment in Metrotown area as well.
Joyce-Collingwood is in Vancouver bordering Burnaby and Metrotown is in Burnaby. Both have an excellent transit access. You can get one to two bedroom apartments for about $900 to $1500 respectively. But, I am not sure about these rents completely as I have never lived in the apartments here. Someone who is renting currently or have experience could better advise you.
You can go for the basement suit as well in the same area for about $700-$1000. Google is your best friend.
