I'm a PR and moved to Windsor ON in April2004. I work at Detroit on H1B visa. I'm going to India to get married in Nov. 2005. My husband is Indian citizen.I have no idea about sponsoring spouse.what should i do before merrige and what i have to do after marrige to sponsoring my spouse.if anyone knows about the process of sponsoring a spouse or anyone has recently expeirence about this situation please let me know.

When i sponsored, he filled his forms, sent to me, i filled my forms n submitted in mississauga branch.

He has to do medical test, police clearance.

But from what i hear, now the rules have changed, and u can bring your spouse here and then put his file. i dont know when this new rule is effective from, but may be you can do that. u will have to inquire more abt it. again the above mentioned web site might have info on that too.
