Since this is my first posting I would like to thank all the members for making this site so useful, especially to all of them who are posting Questions and who are replaying them with satisfactory and proper answers.
Like many of others I have got my PR card and am back to Dubai with my wife.
We are expecting our first child in November and I have no plans to go back to Canada before that.
Every one prefers to have their child born in Canada so that he/she can get a Canadian citizenship by birth. But since we don’t have anyone in Canada and I cannot leave my job so soon I can’t send my wife alone and take any risk.
My Questions are: -
Is it a good or bad idea to deliver the child outside Canada?
What will be a status of newborn baby if we r on PR status?
What should we do after birth to register or get a pr card for newborn baby?
