Received AOR and Medicals within 1 month of applying PR, but wife pregnant

Hi,
We received our AOR and medicals request within 1 month of applying our PR appln in CanadianExperience Class but my wife is pregnant now .
She is in the second trimester now (13 weeks).
Can someone tell how long would it delay our PR appln if we wait until baby's birth ?
Our OHIP is expiring this month end. (SEpt 2011)
Is there anyway to extend our OHIP , just that we received our PR medicals, so that it might be useful for my wife delivery ?
i am not understanding what do u mean by ohip is expiring ? OHIP does not even start until after 3 months u r in canada....

I have just applied for PR . The process is still ongoing.
Our workpermits have been expired and hence OHIP expires too !!
You don't have to wait for the delivery
All medicals can be done now except X-Ray. Your doctor will include in the report the approximate delivery date and then you should a get a letter from CIC stating that you should submit the X-ray report within XX dates after delivery.
This is how it was done in our case. After submitting the X-ray, it took about a month to get the request for passport.
