The CBI Special Court at Patiala House has rejected today the bail plea of Kanimozhi and 6 others in the 2G Spectrum Case.
In the case of Kanimozhi it was claimed that she was sick, a woman and mother, Member of Parliament etc. More importantly, until a few years back, it was boasted, Gopalapuram in Chennai (her father’s residence), was the place that even Delhi looks up to before arriving at any decision. Delhi these days, seems to have a mind of its own.
Moreover, Kanimozhi being a poet fighting for women’s rights and hailing from a family which has been fighting for social and economic justice for more than half a century, has a special role to play in bringing to book all the people involved in the scam. It may not be wrong even if she turns approver and come clean on this issue. The people of the country will only salute her and will give her more popularity. It will save lot of Court time and public money. To say that there was no loss of money involved and no looting, deserves only such backlash.
Meanwhile, the public can celebrate like Akshay Kumar “Patial be”, it is a small victory for Needhi and Dharma, which is fighting evil with their backs to the wall.

I am glad that the judge saw thru her. He had some words for her also during the judgement. She channelled Rs. 200+ crores from the kickbacks. Hope she stays there for a long time.
