Hello Fellow CDs,
I am new to Canada and am working on bringing in high quality genuine Pashmina scarves and shawls from Kashmir/Punjab. These shawls are authentic machine woven and hand-embroidered. These are all meant for people who really appreciate the quality of native Indian designs and I am trying to find the right market here. All I see in the markets here are cheap and shoddy viscose scarves being sold for 10 dollars.
I was hoping to get some advice from people who are into clothing business here as to how can I find the right market for my products. The stuff I have is certainly not for people who look for bargains and cheap stuff and I don't have the capital to put up a store yet in a posh location in Downtown or elsewhere. All I have is a website which I am still working on.
