Hello,

I am going to start my home base business very soon about handicrafts, Shawls, wall pieces, embroidery clothes, etc....

If anyone can help me out or give some lights on how to make website will be much appreciated. Prefer if can get some important info on how can make free website with effective look.

if free version is not good than i do not mind to pay little money to make decent website.

your valuable advice would be appreciated.

Do a google search for Free Content Management System. You'll come up with:

WordPress
Joomla
Drupal

as the top 3. There are youtube videos on how to build a website using CMS software.

For Joomla check out http://www.buildajoomlawebsite.com/

If you're planning of using the site for commercial purposes and have never built one before, I'd suggest get a professional to build it.

As the purpose of this website will be commercial, ease of navigation and visual appeal are important factors. As a novice, you will not be able to get these things right. It's better to use the services of web designer who will give the website a professional look that can attract prospective clients.

Com'on RBO: If you want a serious business, get it done professionally. It is worth investing and won't cost a fortune. However, if you are not very serious about the business and likes to give it a try .... then you can experiment with your learning of web Technologies. Of course it will be fun.

If your hosting services provides one of the above it is quite easy to build website yourself. I would go and buy a book (or get it from a library) like WordPress for Dummies and experiment myself.

However all depends on your skills.

Why not create an add posting some pictures & details on Kijji & Craiglist & see how much response/clicks on the add you get.
