Hi,
Are there any good deals going on for appliances[fridge/stove/dishwasher/washer dryer]. I am looking for my new home.

Thanks in advance!

Did you try Appliance Canada?

Try Sears as they are the only ones who back their appliances with after sales service. Best if you take a protection plan for 3 or 5 years. I had a problem with my dishwaser after two years and they sent their tech guys at least on ten occasions and I had the same problem after they left. I finally got a Buy Out where they gave me full credit for my original washer and used it to buy a new washer and made them include installation as well.
None of the other vendors will offer you this .

You can get a good deal anytime. First make a list of appliances you want (Make/Model/Finish). Browse online as even big stores have limited selection. I like this site

http://www.canadianappliance.ca/

Once you have the list go to sears or appliance canada or goemans and get the best price on them. Most of them price match and give you a 90 day price protection guarantee (if the price falls 90 days after purchase they will give you a refund)

Look at previous year's models if they are not significantly different from this year's model (some washers and dryers), they are usually available in deals and lower price

While i understand this is a thread about new appliances, there are quite a few businesses in GTA who sell returned / slightly damaged (physical dents) appliances which function perfect. I bought high end appliances from such a business in markham and my experience was great. The dents were on the back / not visible. Search Kijiji, if you cant find waleed in markham, let me know i'll dig the name from my emails for you.
