Hello ,
My inlaws are visiting us here for the last six months, i applied for their visa extension a month prior to their visa expiry. As the decision took around 82 days we were told that they can stay till that period.
We have got the decision that they will further need a medical here for their further stay (as expected )
But the problem now i am facing is for some personal reasons my in laws have to return back in a month. Do i still go ahead and get their medical done, it is going to take me two weeks to get them to see somebody for the medical.
thanks
If they are returning with in 90 days from the visa expiry date, there is no problem and you do not have to do any thing related to medicals.
However, if it is beyond 90 days, there is a risk of treating that period as illegal stay by the CIC which can effect their future visa applications.
