My sister visiting US, is intendeng to carry a pram for her grand child in India, does this attract any duties at the Indian airport? is this allowed in her baggage, while carrying it from here?

If there is a kid traveling with her then it count as a hand baggage , otherwise as a check in baggage. I don't think there there is any duty applicable on this .

Donot want to prevent your family member from carrying a stroller, but in Big Bazar (Walmart of India), I saw some very good strollers for just 1/2 the canadian price (not 1/2 US price)
