Hi All
I have leakage on ceiling on main level and there is a shower just above that on 2nd level. We stopped using the shower for few months but still some water keeps seeping on the ceiling and increasing.
Any suggestions on what could be wrong and fix? and if anyone knows a good plumber in Mississauga area who specializes in water leakage detection.
Thanks
Its a very simple "possible cause elimination" test that can be done by yourself .
If you have not used shower or bath tub for long and still you see that its leaking it means that your seals on bath tub are ok and its not leaking atleast from there .
Most probably its leaking at the mixing valve on faucet inside as over a period of time these things do wear out causing leaks . You may have to remove few tiles around that area to have a peek in the area .
If you are not comfortable in doing above yourself than try calling Raj@ 647-273-3634 .

Take out the large circular disc which covers the faucet and peek inside to find out the leak. Check out the process to replace cartage on youtube with the make of your faucet. There could be leak from the join or from the faucet cartage. If the leak is from faucet cartage, you can replace it yourself if you have basic tools and skill.
