Oil leaking from the bottom- NEED help

hi there,

My car is leaking from the bottom first passenger side. When ever i parked my car i got oil in the bottom. I just purchased last week.

Help me please.

First Passenger side - next to driver - correct. You need not worry. On that side of engine is oil filter which do leak when oil is changed or filter is loose. You can wait for couple of days for leak to stop or take it to mechanic to get filter changed or tight the bolt.

Yes i am worried. CAR is really a matter of luck.

It was started only at 2-3 days back. when i saw sport at parking lot.

if it does not stop. you will have to change Oil Pan Gasket . ( will be around 150-200 dollars incl. labour)

which car do you have ?

A lot depends on model....sometimes it could be oil seals as well....do not delay this matter...get it checked right away....

In old car never go for costly repair for drop leakage of oil. Never get your engine open for seal or gasket repair. First try additives. Normaly lines coming of engine are pressure lines which are available from manufacturer at a fortune. Try to stop leakage with additives or replacement of drain plug gasket or oil filter change.

Hi thanks to all,

I checked it int the evening it could be fuel leakage? it smells like is fuel.
