I recently acquired Canadian citizenship. I am planning to apply for OCI.
I would like to apply OCI for my daughter as well who was born here.
My question is
1) Can I apply for my daughter along with my application of OCI ?
2) My husband has not yet received the canadian citizenship. He is a PR
Will I have to submit his original Landing papers and passport as well
if I apply for OCI for my daughter ? He could get a call any time to write the
citizenship test, so I am concerned about submitting his papers ?
Would greatly appreciate your inputs. Thanks!

1. Yes, you can apply for your daughter's OCI.
2. Yes, they will require submission (if mail) of original documents of father and mother (PR, Cdn PP, etc, etc). All the requirements are spelled out in the appropriate website.
You may withhold documents, but they will not process until they see or have them.

Thanks Full House and dimple2001.
I heard india is doinf VISA on arrival and should be operational in Q1-Q2.
If that is the case then OCI business will fall down significantly

Live and Let Live
Yes that is correct. Visa on Arrival may be extended to Canadian Passport Holders.
Still under consideration tough.
However it is a 30 day visa . Costs around $60. Its good in case of emergency travel.
Plus a visit Visa just provides you a visit rights ..Does not put you at par with an NRI as OCI does ... You may not be able to open to maintain NRE Bank Accounts for example .
