Hi ,
I also recently finalized a deal , but as I was a first time home buyer and I was not aware of this cashback , I never mentioned that to my agent.
Now is there any possibility to get some cashback or some sort of other return from him like lawyers fees (which I have not paid yet). He made atleast 2.5% from the deal.

Normally lawyer's fees are included in statement of adjustment or final settlement. Hence if you have already given draft to lawyer then it is already paid.

Some of the R.E.Agents will settle all of their outstanding bills and will take a nice trip to CUVA/MEHICO, even before the ink dries on the papers that you signed.
The money you spent is very well utilized by them. It also becomes very hard to go back and ask for a piece of the action, once the sale gets through. In my opinion, you are out of luck. But who knows, asking is NO CRIME. When you come and visit Canadian Desi, we give you the heads up.
