Wasn't trying to suggest that she shouldn't be supported because of her sexuality.

For anyone who would like to see the type of material that gays have been creating for "younger" kids

(note: mature / explicit content)
http://www.actoronto.org/home.nsf/pages/a-z

A gay teacher in Toronto has already tried to circulate material from the same source to children. This is coming soon to a classroom near you.

The debate got started very earnestly and there was no animosity between the three party heads. The questions raised were the same ones that we know or heard from the news media and none were new.

The questions remain unanswered. How to cut the deficits and how to create the jobs here in Ontario.

For a start, there is only a certain amount of Tax revenue generated and some of it is based upon the Gas tax, which fluctuates daily and the Governments do not want to reduce them to a level tolerable. They leave it to the refiners to take care of it. Given a chance, they will move it past buck fifty. No one is on our side, as a consumer.

As regards the jobs, we see the unemployed youth GRADUATES and underemployed graduates still on the wait list who cannot find a starter job, other than the T's M's and the BK's to get by. Most of them are loaded with debts after a long four year stint at the Universities. If they could not create a few hundred jobs right at the election time to get a boost for the job seekers, it looks like a n ominous task at a target of a million. Would we have to wait for a hundred years to hit the target?

With a deficit of 29 Billions "with a B", and hopefully without a tax increase, I want to ask the leaders how do they propose to balance the budget or spend additional 16 billions for the transit (LRT) and subways and also try and fix the pot holes and the bridges and the highways we drive upon?

It is my opinion that these politicians can easily spin off any story to get a VOTE and once in the drivers seat can just make a round about face and say, we all tried. But could not reach the target.

That is democracy for us and the out look that these politicians project for us is the UTOPIA that everyone is looking for. Sounds great and looks good till it all gets over. Then we will see the same things repeat all over again.

We all are getting into the threaded fasteners.

NUT SCREWS WASHER AND BOLTS.!!

Governments should not be in the business of ‘creating’ jobs.

They should ensure an adequate, effective regulatory environment. They should also ensure that they live within their means. You can't put ever increasing amounts on the credit card and not expect to have payments come due at some time. You wouldn't run your household finances that way!

IMHO, the Provincial Government’s deficit spending, and lack of a credible plan to balance the books are the biggest impediment to job creation. A significant round of ‘medicine’ is going to have to be administered at some point of time, and companies would generally rather not invest in that environment. High energy prices (caused by the Green Energy Act) don’t help either..

Ontario has ~$300 billion in debt (or close to $30,000 for every man, woman, child and Kathleen Wynne ;) ). The Liberals have not provided a plan to reduce the deficit let alone to initiate debt repayment. Continuing down this route will lead to a debt downgrade, which will significantly increase borrowing costs. The increased borrowing costs will lead to reduced services (or a flight of capital out of the province if tax rates are increased significantly to compensate for higher borrowing costs).

The Liberals plans for spending $50 billion or whatever the current number is are pipe dreams. There is little to no money!

Desis won't discuss the subject but are willing to vote for a lesbian (Katie Wynne)?

You say you don't care for her sexuality but keep referring it in every post ! It may be discouraging others from participating.

If no one responds does not imply that they are voting liberals.

Or are you just trying to instigate CDs?

MOTR is a latest avatar of some close minded fellow. (14 posts till date). He seems to be hung up on Lesbian education. What will he do when TV and Newspapers provide coverage of Pride parade? What will he do when he witnesses Lesbian/Gay people kissing in public? Get a life man. Lesbian/Gay life style is a matter of fact and whether you approve or not, you have to accept it. It is therefore good that kids are exposed to concept. One can have debate about the appropriateness of age or its content but not wish away the subject. Western kids become mature at much younger age and also indulge in sex at much younger age and hence the education is provided at much younger age. MOTR should migrate to Saudi or Iran where there are no gays! Lol!

By the way, I love watching Lesbian movies. They are more romantic and sensitive. There are tons of it on Youtube. MOTR should watch it. May be he would change his opinion. Lol!
