Hasni,
Law offices donot file taxes, but Auditor's offices do.
HR block is a year around tax filing centre.
Other CD's will advise you of the current firms and procedures.

HR block is like a chain of companies / franchises , just like your MaC Donalds and are located across GTA / Ontario / possibly Canada.
Though they are a reputed group, their services may or may not be good, depending on the owner. If the owner hires a white person, then you can expect good services but no cheating on the tax. if it is Desi or ME person, they will advise you on how to max. take benefits from the Canadian Govt.
When you land, go to Dundas St W- Hurontario intersection of Mississauga. This is like mini India / Pak. Lot of Pak. groceries / phone cards/ movies / hair cuts and along with it, lot of tax preparers. You may also choose to discuss with them first. Even lot of Pakistani tax collectors are there and you can talk nicely with them.
Donot hire any one till they tell you what they will do, if they can get max. benefits for you/ your family and then only hire them (once you are satisfied).
if you roam in this area, you will get a lot of ideas of how multi cultural Canada is. It will be like Batha of Riyadh.

Good luck.

You need a good Doctor for taking care of your health.

You need a good Lawyer to take of the Legal Matters.

You will need a good Accountant to take care of Accounting, Taxes and related matters.

In this country, there is a division of Labour and people try and stick to their own bailiwicks,. i.e. the stuff where in their experience lies.

And in Canada we try and do almost all of the small chores ourselves and avoid a few small expenses. One such requirement is filling in the CCTB forms. In the current day scenario, we all get a small guide to go with all of these forms that needs to get filled in and also read a few publications on the net, to avoid any boo-boos.

Now to the how much it costs. :
A Doctor posts a list of charges in the front where the secretary sits. The charges are listed in them. Generally will not exceed $100.00

A lawyer charges no less than $400-600 per hour, so try and avoid them like Plague.

An accountant could charge you anywhere from $40-$60 and it could be per visit or by the job.

FH.

A little help here. :
The Canada Revenue Agency says... General Income Tax and Benefit Guide
If you are responsible for the care and upbringing of a child who is under 18 years of age, you can apply for the CCTB for that child. Apply as soon as possible after the child is born or begins to live with you.

You can apply by: using Apply for child benefits on My Account at http://www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount;" rel="nofollow">LINK

Sending a completed Form RC66, Canada Child Benefits Application; or

Giving your consent on the provincial/territorial birth registration form. For more information about this new application, see Pamphlet T4114, Canada Child Benefits. This information is also used to apply for payments from certain related provincial or territorial programs. If you are a permanent resident, temporary resident, or protected person (refugee) as defined in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, you should apply as soon as possible after you and your child arrive in Canada.

In addition to the CCTB, you can also receive a CDB if your child meets the criteria for the disability amount and we have approved Form T2201, Disability Tax Credit Certificate, for that child.

The CCTB and CDB are based on the net income (line 236) shown on your return and, if applicable, your spouse's or common-law partner's return minus any amount you or your spouse or common-law partner reported on lines 117 and 125. If you or your spouse or common-law partner deducted an amount on line 213, and/or the amount for a repayment of registered disability savings plan income included on line 232, we will add these amounts to your or your spouse's or common-law partner's net income.

Therefore, to qualify for these benefits, you both have to file a return every year, even if there is no income to report.

To view your CCTB account, go to http://www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount." rel="nofollow">LINK For more information regarding the CCTB or CDB, go to http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/benefits" rel="nofollow">LINK, see Pamphlet T4114, Canada Child Benefits, or call us at 1-800-387-1193.
