Never tried it for roti making so cannot comment .... Was around $20 - $25..

You can get electric roti makers from Amazon.ca, ebay.ca, Chennai Imports as already mentioned, etc. There are some actual user generated videos (not by manufacturers) that you watch on youtube and decide for yourself if it is worth or not. I think even with the machine you need some technique.

Been doing that for over 12 years now. As long as you get the water and atta proportion correctly, it makes good dough. I've tried it with various brands of atta, and the general rule 2 atta to 1 water.

Takes about 7 to 9 minutes for making the dough.
