Indian passport expiring

My indian passport is expiring by april 20015. i will be in india till the end of January 20015. Is it better to renew it in India or here in Canada?

Canada may require 6 month validity on an Indian passport (vice versa is not true as you are landing in your home country). So please renew it in India.

Your passport is good for another 18,000 years, so why worry!

Anyway it might be too late to be renewed in Canada, especially if you are traveling soon.
