Hello Friends
We are planning to travel to India during end of December time frame. The ticket we have is through AC to Zurich and then Swiss Air to Mumbai
We have never travelled to India using this route and wanted to know of any body who has travelled this route on what we should expect in terms of Airport procedures and travel itself via Zurich
Any inputs regarding the above would be of great help
Thanks
Travelled via Zurich in 2002.
Very small airport. Nothing much was inside the airport.
How many hours layover time do you have?
The answers will depend on that. If you are Canadian citizen, then you will be allowed to exit out and return back.
Hope this helps.

I have about 3.5 hours layover time in Zurich. Was your second flight from Zurich to India via Swiss Air? How was the experience flying Swiss Air. I have a 4 year old with me hence asking as I would know if I need to carry some food for her if Swiss Air meals are not catering to vegetarians
In Canada,
Ask your travel agent to book you and your kid Veg meals and Kid's veg meals. Every airline provides it upon preorder. It is also advantageous, as your food is served to you first.
Plus alsways carry busicuits, Candy.
I did not fly swiss air but then it will be just like any other airline.
Hope this helps.

Good suggestion. In European Air lines, particularly it is important to order Veg Meals in advance thru your agent. If you have booked tickets directly, then call the airlines and book your meals. If not you will end up .... fasting ..... or eating up biscuits that too if you heed the advise of TK.
Thanks for the suggestions. Will surely try to carry some supplementary food just in case
