I am landing in toronto on 16th july 2004, i need airport pickup and also some information on temp. accomodation for 3-4 weeks .( veg. p.g. okay) . Can some one help me. This is my first ever trip outside asia.
So i am little bit worried to see if everything goes right. I need some desis to help me out.

I would be happy to arrange your airport P/Up. But my working hrs do not permit me for that. However, I hope other desi brothers will take care of p/up. I can try for other matters. You got my contact no. Once you land, keep in direct touch.

Hi Biomed,

Can we start one more thread on which our desis settled in canada who can atleast give facility of Airport pick up to new arrivals .

SO that they can see on this thread who needs pick up and who can help them...of course parking charges should be beared by the person who is arriving and needs pick-up.

This is just to facilitate them and make them feel that their community is helping them...from Day one

After first CD meeting Garvo added one section "SERVICES" at CD home page:

I would suggest people to go there and contact the person interested in providing services (including air port pick ups).

This is so heartening and exciting to hear ..The kind of help which desis are laying out for Unknown faces and unknown persons is really a great feat..I have come across my medicals and am about to submit them but at this time i already seem to have unknown friends in you all...

I really aprreciate the courtesy which everyone has extended to new comers and aspirants for landing into Canada
