A Delhite in Toronto
We visited Algonquin park last weekend which is considered as the peak of the season .
Natural beauty in abundance and leaves everlasting impression. IMO it is a must to visit place especially if you are in GTA .
Just make sure you have enough food with you as not many options available in vicinity . If you go to West entrance instead of east you can save 50 KM drive .
Be prepared to walk as they have many many beautiful trails to explore .

Growing Old Is Mandatory ..Growing UP is Optional
You can try :
Algonquin - 3 hour drive
Muskoka - 2 Hour drive
Forks of the credit - less than 1 hour drive.
Have you tried the Edwards gardens in the middle of Toronto?

It has a botanical garden as well a trail by the river - very beautiful in the fall...
We are planning for a hike over this weekend (not decided which day) - mono cliffs provincial park

If you have trouble hiking - a slow drive through DVP (during peak hours) and Rosedale Valley road is also good option.

In addition to the above .
I am assuming Airport Road North of Brampton towards Wasaga Beach should be a good viewing drive as there are lots of ebbs and tides in the drive with magnificent views coming up every now and then .
Forks of the credit has seldom disappointed.
There's a Fall viewing guide released every year which tracks the foliage & colors and the % of leaves remaining and that can be a good parameter as they update it regularly.

Per that currently Algonquin is on the top & Parry sound is on no.2 ... But please view it Sat and decide.
