I need to buy 02 hard disks of capacity 100 GB each .

Please recommend make and vendor / location with reasonable price .

Check out these two sites - http://www.pcvonline.com/locations.aspx and http://www.tigerdirect.ca/retailstores/indexca.asp - Better to go for a 250GB HDD as you'll notice a significant increase in price when you go above this magic number.

My requirement is such that I need 2 hard disks - one of 100 GB and the other for 80 GB . I am looking into the links provided.

Do you have any info on the location of physical vendors / shops in Toronto who do good business in these ? May be something similar to a bulk market of IT parts.

Look at futureshop.ca and check out any sales they have. Then you can go to their stores and buy the same HDD.
Also check out Canada Computers online - google. They have even cheaper drives.

I assume you are looking for 3.5"(desktop)drivesvs the laptop drives. Desktop drives are not easily found in 80GB capacities anymore. Most commonly 160GB and up are being sold nowadays.

Does any1 know of a good and reasonable Hardware shop / market who can do the fitting of the hard disk also . I m more into sw.

I wouldn't recommend futureshop etc. ....
Go to College and Spadina.
You will find the best deals for anything that is related to computers....
Canadacomputers and factorydirect also have their retail outlets there...and you can check them out, but there are many other smaller retailers who will give u a good deal....
(also check fortune computers...College and Spadina too)
