Hi,

I just visited my sister in the US in the Bay Area and she has an Indian lady that comes over once a week to cook 3-4 vegetarian north indian dishes for the family. This has been really convenient for my sister given both her and her husband have full time demanding jobs.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of similar service providers in Toronto.....specifically downtown. I understand that there are several people that will do this in the GTA (Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough etc.) but that finding someone to come downtown Toronto is harder.

If anyone is aware of anyone that can provide a similar service downtown or has any insight in this regard, that would be much appreciated. Please feel free to send me a private message.

If you provide good details, then, we can provide proper help, after our search. There are people who do help with such requirements and they also charge depending upon the services that you want from them.

I hit fast food in the CD website, in their search engine in their Classified section and came up with 88 responses.... 88 Records found on "fast foods"

You can refine to suit your needs and also try with a dollar figure too. Some times they charge a lot for such services and you might not find it suitable to your liking.

I had some time to do the research and come up with an avenue to follow or avail the services or the supply of food being sold to those who are desirous of taking their services or products from them. Then there are others.

Everyone has a taste that they prefer, if you find some one to cook the same for you, s/he will be in a position to use the same and cook with your supply of materials. In my search I came across a few of the spice makers and curry and paste sellers and if you have your own recipe and the stock of such materials for the cooking, then the person who will provide you with their services will be in a better position to prepare the same to your taste. You may have to specify the spiciness and the salt or sweetness to the prepared items it there are any such demands from you. So, be specific when you get hold of a person to cook the same for you.

Some people that I contacted, who are seniors, do get such a service from the people who do the cooking for them. So, I do know now that there are cooks who do this for a living, on a part time basis. They also get paid well, as the person who prepares the food has to travel a long distance to the place where she cooks. They also get paid for the travel time too. Also ask if there are a few days/months that they do not do this for a living.
