hi friends,
my spouse has an interview scheduled with USA consulate in Toronto for her USA visitor visa, she is on PR for last one year and we are planning to go to Florida for a week so we applied for her USA visa , can anyone throw some light on what should we expect, what kind of questions they ask, what documents should we take and what are her chances of getting a visa. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Parag
Check the interview letter. It will specify the documents she is required to take with her (such as passport, PR card, etc).
Beyond that, it would help to take your FL itinerary (incl. flight tickets and hotel bookings, if applicable), proof of ties in Canada (home deed, lease agreement, a bank statement). Offer only the documents and info that are asked for. If they don't ask, don't offer or answer.
If the application is straightforward, there will be no issues in obtaining a visa.
Possible questions:
1. What are you visiting?
2. For how long?
3. Where will you be staying?
4. Where else will you be traveling?
5. Who is going with you?
6. What's their status in Canada?
7. Possibly employment related questions (unlikely unless they need to see more evidence of ties to Canada)
8. How are you traveling to FL?

I assume that you as a spouse has a Canadian citizenship and passport.
This will help in putting across that you are going to USA on a visit along with a Canadian citzen.
So donot forget this part.
