The best comment in one of these you tube video is , only if we spend most of the defence and weapon budget on scientific research, we will leap 100s of years ahead , but no... we prefer to kill each other.
It is a very significant discovery though a layman fails to understand the relationship between space, time and speed of light. All very technical and complex.
For the first time however, are scientists going backwards - they pick a conclusion and try to find ways/calculations to match that conclusion. If Einstein did not make that statement/observation, there would not have been this billion/trillion $$ lab and equipment just to prove him right. Which as a believer in science I find it fascinating (and probably faulty) approach - in my humble opinion. Not that anyone cares

There might be millions of unknowns we don't know and haven't even started to design/develop a scientific apparatus to detect what we don't know.
A lot of my understanding of science comes from watching sci fiction and super hero shows. Much of that is fictional based on real science facts. It has become increasing difficult for me to draw the fine line between fact and fiction in some of the very good shows.
Will keep reading as time permits, feel free to enlighten if you can share more facts.
