What I fail to understand is that how can NaMo take action of heavy black money of entrepreneurs (Ambanis & Adanis ) with whose sponsorship , he won the elections and to whom he is giving the favors back again by providing them heavy loan sanctions through the Banks whereas every one decries the fate of the farmers but they don't have access to similar funding or incentives...

Is it not hypocrisy at best ... Refer article on previous page.

All the black money promises - are they not an eyewash ? ' Elections mein waadey sirf elections jeetney ke liye kare jaate hain '

And then the recent horse trading by BJP as witnessed in Uttranchal as well as the efforts to instate a parallel Govt in Delhi through the LG ~ These are just examples of dirty politics.

I think the title of the thread should be ' Modi completed 2 years of non fulfilment of election promises '

Can you post anything substantial (not a blog by Asutosh!) to support your claim about Ambanis and Adanis getting favor from Modi government and they supported the election campaign?

During Modi's tenure as a Chief Minister of Gujarat the same line of attack was contently done by Congress and others, but nothing was making sense. If you look at all the projects, lands, discounts, tax discounts, leases given by all governments, in-fact they got much more favor when Congress was in Power in Gujarat.

Also industries/Big Houses getting promotional offers and favors are not to be seen as corruption/mal-practices, there could be a chance of some kick-backs, however the original intention is pure. For centuries kings/leaders have seen business leaders setting up things in their state so that employment and other related industries can flourish.

There are lots of US states, Canadian Provinces providing incentives to do business there.

Do you have any proof that the article shared on last page ( Adani's debts equal total farmer's debt) is unsubstantiated or have any evidence contrary to it ? It was published in a national daily and would not have gone through if the allegations were baseless.

However since you have asked for more , suit yourself ... action and reaction :)

Almost every day, Modi takes off from Ahmedabad airport in an EMB-135BJ, an Embraer aircraft, for his rallies. The jet is owned by Karnavati Aviation, a group company of the Adani Group. "We record two movements of Modi's aircraft daily. No matter where he goes to address rallies, he always comes back home," said an air traffic control official.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/news/Fleet-of-3-aircraft-ensures-Modi-is-home-every-night-after-days-campaigning/articleshow/34069525.cms

The Adani group, headed by Gautam Adani, and the SBI have signed a memorandum of understanding which provides for a credit facility of up to $ 1 billion, subject to the detailed assessment of the company?s mine project at Carmichael, near Clermont in Western Queensland.

When contacted, a senior SBI official declined to share the details. Adani already has borrowings of close to
Rs 65,000 crore. The SBI?s loan offer comes at a time when banks are reporting sluggish loan demand and a rise in bad loans, with many companies, especially infrastructure firms, lining up for debt restructuring.

http://indianexpress.com/article/business/economy/adanis-australia-deal-sealed-sbi-to-give-him-1-billion-loan/

This is called as crony capitalism and that's why the nexus between politicians , industrialists is always decried upon .... If a similar interest in shown to farmers , farmer's miserable condition and deaths can be avoided !!! ..... But who cares about them when industrialists and politicians join hands for mutual benefit..

2 qs ---

Would Ambanis and Adanis have black money slashed overseas?

If NaMo took benefits from them during his campaign and otherwise , why would he go after them for black money recovery ?

My favorite achievement of Modi Govt on foreign trip :
http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/india-clears-final-hurdle-to-join-missile-technology-control-regime-1416538?pfrom=home-lateststories

Yes, i ?m Proud Bhakt. But always support what is right and good for India. And I strongly believe Modi is doing very good for India

I wanna ask few question to those Congee and AAPTard:
Had you ever asked this question in last 10 years ?
Had you ever taken interest in any foreign trip of any other PM?
Had you ever listened the speech of any other PM on Red Fort?
Had you ever seen swearing in ceremony of any other PM?

My secular friends, this is what we call Modi effect. Before we never gave a damn about what our PM was doing.

This one man made us to think, to ask this question that why our PM is going on foreign trip, what are the benefits of that etc... That this is what Modi has done. He changed our mindset and forced our youth to take interest in politics.

You will not be disappointed after reading this.
1. Jawahar Lal Nehru ? 16 years 286 days
2. Indira Gandhi ? 15 years 91 days
3. Rajiv Gandhi ? 5 years 32 days
4. Narasimha Rao ? 4 years 11 months
5. Manmohan Singh ? 10 years 4 days?..

In these total 57 years, these people could not get Achche din?
Pappu wants achche din in just 12 months. Such a Shame Double Standard thinking??

WE HAVE ELECTED PRIME MINISTER NOT A MAGICIAN

I REST MY CASE.

The information posted doesn't suggest any wrongdoings. Canada invite us to their country and even support us by giving free health-care, training and other things. It doesn't mean Canada did anything wrong and it is a mal-practice.

If there is a world largest refinery to be setup who can do that? Ashish Khetan? Fido? The only capable power houses like Ambani, Tata etc can have courage and capacity to do it. Don't just hate them, they are very pivotal for every common citizen's bread and butter. Just compare the condition of common people living in Gujarat/Maharastra v/s people living in Bihar/WB and you will understand where the common people are more happy.

The irony is that, parties talking about common people's welfare, seldom do anything to improve their life. Our country have seen the Hindu Rate of Growth, as others used to Joke it, during the socialistic regime of Nehru and Indira. Thanks to MMS/Rajiv/PV Narsimha Rav for opening up the door for industrial revolution.

Just cursing big industries is not a solution. Yes, any kind of malpractices, like favoring just a particular corporate house whereas there are more than one capable houses are available and others have offered a more favorable proposal, should not be tolerated.

We are in Canada, an advance country who is more dependent on Service and Manufacturing sector (again controlled by international corporate houses), working for those companies and abusing Indian Government for crony-capitalize. A great contradiction!

GG dont bother reply to guys like FIDO and others - they are hard core Modi hatters , i hv seen their posting and very disappointing - as i have mentioned in my previous post , these guys can drop to any level to bash Modi, We can clearly see their love towards congee, apptard, they have gone down even to support , kashmir ,naxal and anti national elements...

WHAT MORE CAN V EXPECT FROM THEM ? LEAVE THEM ALONE IN THEIR WET DREAM -

We should be proud that we go leader like Modi , who is working hard to build India, we should not try to prove or explain , this people will never change , so its wast of time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets standing ovation as he speaks about Indian Diaspora in US during joint US Congress address in Washington D.C. America.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was received with awe and recognition at the Capital Hill by the American parliamentarians on Wednesday, defining the evolving relationship between India and the United States.

Definitely proud moments for all India and for true Indians....for sure Khujliwal, Lalu and team and congress is not happy at all for this one.....but it is not their fault, by birth they were born with defects so no offence at all....;)

No wrong doing ??? :)

So did you not see from the Indian Express link that NaMo used Adanis aircrafts for his election campaign ... When you take favors from SOME industrialist would you not have to repay them morally by granting them favors ???

Please do not use Tata's name with Ambanis -- these are at 2 ends of the spectrum in relation to corruption and malpractices ...

No wrongdoing in granting billions of $ loans to Adanis through SBI --- hmmm ... then why did SBI back out of the MoU after a public outcry...

Its something which even a fool can understand ... it does not take any intellect ................ and then you fool the public by talking about black money retrieval when you know that the very people who slash black money abroad are the ones with whom NaMo is in hands and glove relationship with ......... You scratch my back - I scratch yours !!!

Yes of course the state should fund and favor a couple of industrialists out of the way and shun the poor farmers who loose their life in providing food to the country ............. Is it that difficult to find a solution to the farming issue ........ but only if you are free from favoring the industrialists who sponsored your election...
