On using airplanes by industrial houses, or getting favors, industries supporting political parties are quite common across all the counties, what they get in return, that too by crooks and hooks is a crime.
If one is against that, he/she should be against in all cases. The Joker, in the morning criticizes Modi, using the same words that Fido used in this forum in Gujarat and in the evening used a private plane. No comments on that!
On giving loans to certain individuals - we with our limited capabilities to go the bank and bank charges an appropriate interest rates and gives us loans. Anything wrong in that? Then why Adani getting loan is an issue? Without government/industries work in a harmony and if a given power house has shown performance based on the merit one can get that one. Yes, for any non-performance, for any defaults, they should be punished and such privileges should not be there - as in the case of Mallya.
On Tata - he is also very favored industry house in Gujarat. The entire episode how Modi grabbed him and allotted Sanand location is very famous. Why no-one is seeing any wrong doings there? Of-course there wasn't any wrong doings, the farmers got what were fair prices there and now the entire city of Sanand became part of Metro Ahmedabad with modern facilities. But my point is why Adani and Ambani are targets?
No matter what, the blame always goes to Modi. And the man really likes it, faces it, defends it and comes out victorious.

On Modi's recent trip - quotes from economic times.
Quote:
Modi has just wrapped up a 140-hour-long trip covering five nations including the US, 45-plus engagements over five days and flew for nearly 44 hours, bulk of it at night, to cover nearly 33,000 kilometers.
New thumb rule dictated by the prime minister in his recent trips: Not staying the night in a foreign land if no engagement is scheduled in that country the next day and rather use the night for air travel to the next destination for achieving shorter trips.
Modi spent the maximum engagements - 16 - in the US in the 48 hours he spent there, including the meeting with US President Barack Obama, address to the Joint Session of the US Congress, a Congressional reception and meeting, community reception, a round-table with US business leaders and an interaction with think-tanks.
The Mexican leg of the trip was the shortest at just about four hours with a private meeting and a working dinner with the Mexican President on June 8.
In his first two years, Modi as the PM spent 95 days abroad much more than Singh's 72 days abroad in his first two years in UPA-1and UPA-2. But Modi has covered far more ground by visiting 40 countries in his 20 trips. Singh could visit 18 countries in 15 trips in UPA-1and 24 countries in 17 trips in UPA-2 in the first two years.

In the recent much telecast interview with Arnab Goswami, the first sentence or definitely the second sentence that the PM spoke was about how when he took over power in 2014 that he wanted to do something for the poor. But the BJP government has left a gaping hole in the poor people's pocket when they have failed to collect the money back from the bad loan defaulters.

How can he and how will he put those to task who have funded him ?
I hope people have common sense to see that and not expect anything in that direction including black money promise .

We had two contrasting news items in today's newspapers.
One was about Centre "injecting" almost 23,000 crores into Public Sector Banks.
http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-business/centre-injects-rs22915-cr-into-13-public-sector-banks/article8872325.ece.
We do not know how many shifts Jaitley had to run the Nasik printing press to print this amount currency. But all he has to do is run a few shifts.
The second was about the Bank employees Union AIBEA publishing the list of defaulters. May be successive parties governments have double taxation and confidentiality issues in releasing the list and going after the defaulters.
http://www.thehindu.com/business/Industry/aibea-names-5600-defaulters/article8871565.ece
Reliance Asset Reconstruction Company has been unleashed by the State Bank on education loan defaulters. The total amount of default of 847 crores has been "sold" to the ARC for less than 400 crores.
http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/the-bad-side-of-education-loans/article8757857.ece
The defaulters are mostly poor parents from lower income groups. If the central government which remote controls the SBI are going to be so strict with the poor for such a small amount, should it not set up Ambani against a Mallya and his clan for amounts ranging to 1000s of crores. May be Ambani too thinks he belongs to the same clan and would avoid a showdown.

There s a 3rd news stating CAG of India slams Centre for wrongly projecting the gains from the LPG subsidy scheme.
Appears NaMo claimed that the LPG subsidy scheme saved the exchequer RS. 22 crores.
On investigation CAG found that Rs 20 crores was due to drop in LPG prices internationally and 2 crores was the benefit out of the scheme....

Misportrayal & portraying unfulfilled dreams to masses while benefiting selected corporate (Ambanis & Adanis) is the NaMo mantra perhaps.
Heard that the apple of NaMo's eyes - Navjot Singh Sidhu upon being disillusioned with BJP is leaving BJP along with his wife.
