Definitely proud moments for all India and for true Indians....for sure Khujliwal, Lalu and team and congress is not happy at all for this one.....but it is not their fault, by birth they were born with defects so no offence at all....
I am also felt very proud to know of the accolades that Modi is gathering world wide .... I have always maintained that he is a great speaker and crowd puller .... And these visits may help India politically ...
As much as it might appear contradicting , I am not entirely against Modi .... I do admit that he is the best choice available today and far better than Congress .........
But I am not a blind follower and would criticize his weak points in the same breath !!!

BP, I think its good to have a conversation. Then only people get a chance to hear a different perspective. So lets keep the conversation going. An example, is the other thread about the movie censorship. I didnt even realize this was an issues until people started stalking about it.
I dont want to name anyone, but if you read closely, there are some members who are impressed by the growth prospects with Modi govt in charge. Then there will be others who are perplexed by the fact that someone other than Congress (UPA) can govern the country much better that many years of UPA sarkars. They will try to argue every step of the way, and will be unsatisfied. What can you do?
I must admit that I didnt feel much difference in governance style or the effect on people with the previous NDA govt ( Vajpayee sarkar). They were pretty similar to Congress govts in the pasts. Also, the economic situation of India was different then. With Modi ji sarkar, I do feel that this govt is trying to enhance people's lives and also image of India, there by attracting investment.

I can think of one instance recently. Its not the same as using coporate sponsored funds for election. I suspect that last years Ontario provintial election was sabotages by teachers union and other govt employee unions with the understanding that they will get favorable outcomes during bargaining. Just a thought.
Best suits for non compliance of the black money promise by NaMo as well.
