thanks

Hi Goldeneye,

Cruise is not with Disney cruise but with Carnival cruise. I booked through PVP (Personal Vacation Planner) from Carnival cruise.

My first cruise was with Carnival and loved it..so this time again booked with Carnival cruise.

There is so many cruise companies in the market but after an intensive research I found Carnival is more family orientated cruise than other cruises with affordable price.

I got deal for $783 USD per person (incl all taxes, etc..) for 7 Day @ Carnival Magic cruise for EASTERN CARIBBEAN which covers 4 ports :

Amber Cove, Dominican Republic
St. Thomas, Usvi
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Grand Turk

regards

Hi RBO, I am glad that you started enjoying the cruise trips.
The first time I took was celebrity to Alaska..loved the convenience, food, facilities.
Now I am planning for Western Caribbean in coming months (in Feb)
So far I am eying on RCL which seems to be bang for buck...will explore more.
My question is, regarding port selection..is there any thing specific you looked when you choose "Eastern" leg vs. Southern vs. Western" ?
Or based on the price.

So far I am inclined towards Western Caribbean, due to ports of Jamica (Oucho Falls), Mexico(Ruins, Ziplines), Grand Cayman(Beach, stinger rey, scuba diving) and any other 4th port...

Would love to heard your research on this front as well.

Hi MK,

Actually we are three families and going together, two other families are going first time on the cruise.

We choose to go from Florida because of the following reasons:

1. We are never been at Disney land, Florida so we are planning to extend our vacation for more 8 to 9 days to cover Disney land, Universal Studio and Kennedy space centre, etc..

2. We choose this cruise because we wants to enjoy cruise plus beaches so in daytime when cruise arrives than we can go outside and can enjoy whole day in the Sun. On most of our destinations have a nice beaches.

3. I have not been on three destination so we love to explore new places. I have been previously at Grand Turk (Turk and Cacaos) - amazing beach.

4. Most important thing - Magic Cruise have a Tandoor restaurant so we can enjoy Indian food too because some of us can not live without Indian foods for so many days....;)

By the way, how was your experience with celebrity to Alaska Cruise?

Cheers....
