Folks are correct on few things but still it's free market and there is lot of info on internet about colleges/universities, ratings, admission criteria TOEFL/SAT/GRE score and tuition fee for local and international students. Yes there is some racism when it comes to top management job but there are lot Canadian and Americans who are working in high paying tech, banking, IT and medical jobs which include both immigrant and local non-white citizens.
I know few kids who have perfect SAT Score, ACT - 24+, 10+ AP subjects with good GPA.
These kids are in ivy univ, Stanford, Northwestern, UTO and UBC. Few smart kids do not get in ivy undergraduate program but they make later in graduate program with scholarship. Asian parents spend lot of time with kids one to one so we are one of the most successful and richest community.

What is point of coming to Canadiandesi and cursing Canada on every post. If you don't like it why live in Canada for years and years cursing the country. You came to the country out of your own free will and can leave at your will.

Why don't they advertise we need Truck drivers, Cab drivers, Fast food workers, warehouse and factory labour workers to immigrants ? Then lets see how many immigrant Engineers, Doctors, CA's, MBA's, Architects come here out of their Free will, because that's what they end up doing here anyways after their education and experience goes unrecognised.
Sure you can leave at your own will, when Canada pays you back all the $$$$ they took from you in landing fees, visa fees, medical fees, air line tickets in coming here, opportunity cost lost and loss of income and loss of time in coming here.
Compensate for ALL the above losses and see how many immigrants leave Canada in a heartbeat. Most of them are just stuck here trying to recuperate the money they spent in coming here. But since they are doing survival jobs, its going to take them a life time to do so.

I am not asking you to sing praises of Canada but coming to Canadiandesi just to bash Canada on every post does not serve any purpose. Today, in the age of internet, people are much better informed what they are getting into before they land in Canada, so it is their choice. They are considering immigration after doing their due diligence and if they are not researching, it is their fault. Of course, all the immigration consultants job is to sell you dreams and if he does not do that, his business would close in a day. What is point of blaming that on Canada? If a doctor wants to immigrate to Canada, he knows he will have to pass exams, etc. Does the immigration department offer them job letters or promise them jobs on landing?

How about a Federal Unskilled Worker - FUW category based on how much weight you can lift, how long can you stand, how long can you bend, how many burgers can you flip, how much can you walk, how many shifts can you do ?
67 Points should be given on that, as that's what you need when these well qualified immigrants work in McDonalds, Drive cabs, Warehouses, Factories, Maids, Cleaning ladies, Janitors, Shopping Malls, Call Centre etc
