Hello,

Can someone guide or help me please ?

I hv cleared my interview and waiting for the medical results. But recently i came to know that the embassy hv not received my medical results and doctor said, he has send them on 19th april. What should i do now ?

please do guide if someone hv come across the same situation.

It happended to us as well. What we did was to take a photocopy of the medical results from the doctors (doctor also maintains a copy) and then sent it to the embasy with a covering letter explaining why we're sending it. If i remember right, the medicals should be sent direct by the doctor and not the applicant. But as I explained they said that they haven't received it. So, we sent it.

The other alternative is to reimburse the doctor for courier expenses and he can send it - this can expedite the process.

Once you did that, how long did it take for you to get the stamping call ?

I am trying to reach the doctor, but somehow he is not coming on the phone. Now we have moved to another place so i cant go and meet him in person. I hv already paid the ROLF and cleared my interview and am just waiting for the visa stamping call which is delayed because they hv not received our medical results yet.

At which address did you send the photo copy ?

I used the London (England) office since I was working in London at that point in time. I think it took a couple of months after the medicals are done. Please note that I do not know how long it might take you for USA as I said I applied through the London office.

Can you take a medical with another doctor now?

Thanks.
I mean after you came to know that your medical results r lost, how long did it take for you to clear all that stuff, like sending the photocopy etc and getting a letter of visa call from them ?
I would not like to take my medicals again, coz its more money and waste of time. But if the Embassy wants us to do it again, there is no choice then. so, i will hv to wait for a call from them.

If all attempts with doctor fails, send proof of the fact that you paid the doctor for your medicals to the embassy. it is the doctor's responsibility to send results to chc.

How did u guys find out that the medicals were lost. Also how long did u wait before u decided to investigate?
