We got our interview waiver and had our medicals done and submitted on 31st December 2003. There was a spelling error in my name (not principal applicant) and our consultant advised us that the doctor is authorised to correct it. However the doctor denied and asked us to make a request letter and said he would send along with medicals.
It is 3 months now and we have no news from CHC whatsover!!
Can we send a reminder to CHC? Is there any way of follow up.
The doctor could have corrected it. If it is just a minor error in the name and the rest of the documents the names are OK then i think it is better not to contact the CHC as it will only delay the process. Normally after the medicals it takes anywhere from three weeks to three months. You might hear from them soon as you have crossed the stipulated time frame.
I applied for Immigration from Singapore in 1999 as a skilled immigrant class.I am living in India.Professionally I am an Electrical Engineer.Feb 04, I got a letter advised me to pick up the permanant visa from Canadian embassy Singapore within 90-days of the letter ,I went to the Singapore embassy in India asking Visa and unfortunately the Consulate General sent back my invitation letter back to Singapore Immigration for the verification and till todate nothing has been done sofar.I am afraid that my 90 days would be exhausted due to unnecessary enquiry and verification.Do somebody advised me what should I do.I have been waiting for this time for the last 4-years.The Singapore embassy do not give me the visa till they got the verification from Singapore immigration .I had already written to the Canadian embassy Singapore but could not get any reply till todate. What worst would I face ,if I could not pick up my visa within 90-days.Do my Visa cancelled and do I have to apply again and pay the processing fees again. Please advise
A worried Immigrant
