Hello to all canadian desi it been my first visit to the website.And iam indeed really impressed by the online discussion and sharing views and experience of different people and giveing suggestions.
I will straigt away come to the point.I am 28 unmarried been here in canada for about 2yrs 3months. I was working till June2004 and after that got laid off.I am currently looking for job since 1 month but still haven't got any and have applied for EI.Now the situation is that last year i had filed my parents sponsership file(July 2003) and its been almost more than a year i haven't heard anything from CIC which is obvious since with parents class immigration taking 3-4yrs.I had paid all the necessary fees also.Now the situation is iam planning to go to india myself to get married in September-October and come back to Canada in December porbably.Obviously i have to put up file for my spouse for immigration purpose i just want to know that will i encounter any hurdles for sposering my to be spouse then.Since assuming that wud be on EI/Not working i may not be able to attach a job letter and as seen in previous dicussion too i will have to fill in details of the person whom i have alredy sposerd (my parents earlier) but for the current year my income earning would be low.My status could be Unemployed on EI.I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW THAT WOUD IT HAVE ANY IMPLICATIONS ON SPOUSAL CATEGORY FILE THEN.
