I would be applying for Canadian student visa for masters in computer science. I am completing my Undergrad from UT-Autin, with a good academic record.
My brother is a permanent immigrant to Canada, and will be a citizen soon.
I was wondering how that will effect my chances of getting a student visa for Canada ?
Any help will be highly appreciated, as then I will open other options for my future.
Thanks !
You should have no problem getting a student visa as long as you are a genuine student [which you obviously seem to be] and have sufficient funds for studying/living in Canada. The fact that u have a brother is a plus factor in terms of support and cost of living.
all the best!
