I think there is something amiss in your posts! In your first post you were trying to lure everyone with the promise of FINANCIAL FREEDOM and the prospect of BEING ONE’S OWN BOSS. (There was no mentioning of hard work). When criticized by other members, you are saying that you did NOT promise "get-rich-quick-schemes" but offering HARD WORK through ETHICAL BUSINESS.
I wonder what you meant by financial freedom and “BECOME OWN BOSS” in your first post? Wasn’t there a promise to get rich in your first post? A shortcut? If it was not a shortcut, what is that you are offering? I thought one will have financial freedom only when he has enough money for his needs, in other word one needs to be ‘rich’ to achieve it (Financial Freedom).
Hard work; most us are very familiar with it, busting our butts day in and day out. Can you care to explain what is this ETHICAL BUSINESS? Do you offer guaranteed returns for the HARD WORK through your EXCITING BUSINESS?
Does it involve any advance minimal payment/fees/charges for the kit/membership charges/etc? Just curious to know what kind of business you are offering, that’s all. Please do not divulge your business scheme on this site if you think people won’t turn up for the meeting once the secrets are out.

actually, i have very close first hand experience... my brother in law has been trying to bamboozle me into joining quixtar for the last 2 years... ive been to the meetings (open, pace.. you name it) more out of courtesy than anything else.... and what i have found is, its nothing but a CULT...

All i can say is that it is unfortunate when people say u can get rich overnight and make false promises. this is what gives a bad image. to the best of my knowledge I havent promised that anywhere . if you are keen you have to take out time and come and learn about this business so that you can make informed decisions like we did and have no regrets.
ive heard this countless times from my b-i-l's uplines... they try to sucker me in and when i use their own numbers against them to disprove their claims of riches, they revert to this (standard) script given to all quixtar ibo's when they are confronted with someone they cannot handle...

It was nice to go through your post. I understand and in fact appreciate your efforts in explaining your side of the story.
You have strong reservations in revealing the business plan in public because "concepts like these cant be posted over the net". Fair enough if that is what you feel.
How about inviting a few select desis and revealing your plan to them in private? I, for one, would be very much willing to spare sometime and come over for a discussion. I am sure endorsement from this select group for your success formula would go a long way in convincing others of its authenticity.
I believe miracles, though very rare, do happen.

Thank you ottawa nerd and others for having the open mindedness to attend this meeting. this is to reiterate that the meeting is to understand the concept of the business and to also highlight the facts and not to 'entice'. There are no commitments give yourself a chance to understand and then think about your interest level and if this bussiness is for you.
I can see that some people have the wrong facts and it is important to know the fact as it is especially from someone who is in the business.

I had the pleasure of attending the meeting and the concept of this business opportunity explained to me. Of course, it was nothing new. It was Quixtar. (Incidently it happened to be my third encounter of this kind.)
My hosts-Mr. and Mrs. Jbhansg136-have been with Quixtar (or its Indian avatar) back home and are pretty enthusiastic about it. They believe wholeheartedly in the concept and its viability as a source of income. I wish them best of luck and success.
I suggested that they should avail the free offer of advertising in classifieds or businesses sections of the canadiandesi.
The question that bothers me the most is: Why even after believing in the concept, people are so reluctant in openly admitting that they work for Quixtar?
