Yeah, I would personally prefer it that way.
But I wouldn't want to be in another country or at least more than a few hours away. Only time will tell though (still have *quiteafew* years to go before I have to worry about this)

Are you there?
Yeah, I already make clear to mine that when I have $100k extra I am going to be lying on a beach in Bahamas instead of paying for his education.
I realized this based on my own experience. I always tell my parents now that I regret not leaving home earlier. I came to US to study with an admission letter, $70 and plane ticket that also on borrowed money. I did everything possible to stay afloat because I knew I am on my own with no support prop. In those 4 years on my own, I learned lot more than the previous 20 years of sheltered life.
There are lot of opportunities in being electrician, mechanics and other trades but how many \"EE/ME/Other Engineers\" indian immigrants do you see going in that direction. They all believe they have higher class than \"electricians and mechanics.\"

Somewhere on CD where there is topic “haricutting” there is topic on being a barber and the potential income. Honestly if I had a bit of skill I would do that than slogging in an office.
Personally Moral is do what gives you the satisfaction and of course the income.
Dear all.
Thank you for all your advises and specially I agree AnilKG.
One thing I haven't mentioned is that I also want to have new challenges in my own life while we see the childen growing. Yes , as parents ,we must see that children have to take their own decisions . we shall try to provide safetynet wherever needed. At least some children do need them.
