online status is updated once a week, so check again next week... i believe they will be doing an upload into the system and fixing some bugs this sunday, so maybe check on monday to see if your application shows up... but even if it dosnt, dont be alarmed, the online tool is not very reliable, some people have taken the oath and two months after it still shows "in process" for them... there have been some applicants who have gone through both citizenship and pr process completely and were never able to see their case online... its a very finicky tool that seems stringent on how it conducts its searches... one person i know of could only see his status if he typed his last name in lower case letters only and if he used caps, it would not find it...

as long as you got the acknowledgement letter, you are fine... so relax and hunker down for the wait...

Hi ottawa,

I think you can follow your case status only after they sent your file to your local office and that takes almost 4 months.
But any way , How much time it tooks for you to receive the acknowledgement...

Hmm Ottawa, so in fact there was not much change from when I applied (maybe a week or so)... , By the way If you have recvd your ack and if you have all the stuff in order and have singed the photos.. your file should transfer within 6 weeks to the Ottawa Office...Unf, due to the new set of rules..you cant confirm your status from the office on Catherine St.
