Hi all
I have an interesting question to ask. I know alot of families where the husbends want to move back to India or Middle east while the wives are so adament about not moving out of Canada.
Is there anyone who felt in a similiar way? Is there any factor that makes ladies love Canada...
I hope this could make an interesting discussion.

Though I do not have first hand experience of it, but I guess one of the reasons is that living here they can avoid the hassles of in-laws!
Also this country offers them lot more freedom and safety.

may be they don't want to beaten blue and black by their in laws back home for not getting sufficient dowry
jokes apart may be most orthodox folks wives have a lot more freedom here and the husband's play not role atleast where the children are considred so if they want to act smart not in Canada. may be another reason not going back to UAE is not being secure in terms of residency if one looses a job
Personally me being a women it would not matter if i like to go back, does not matter whether uae or india. i would get the same freedom back.
could be that a lot of them are at home.....a rather confortable life compared to the daily grind their husbands face....Just a thought.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

3. some r lucky here that there HUSBAND do not want them to work in simple jobs.
4. some r not so happy since kaam wali is not there!!

After spending some time in Canada..... and watching a lot of TV..... women figure it out that this country offers a lot more to housewives and mothers. The Middle East might be a liberal place as compared to their neighbours, but the fact is that male dominance and double standards still prevails, ...... which ...... poses a threat to the fair gender.
