I am in Delhi N my children r in Public schools here. I would like to share here on this forum ,that every year some students fr good schools here r sent to Canada OR Australia for an exchange programme.Teachers also accompany them to learn new n improved methods for teaching.
If the system inthese countries is not good / satisfactory -then what for children fr Indian schools r sent to these countries ,repeatedly year after year?

this is al part of LEN DEN. Everybody thinks grass is greener on the other side. I know of many families who are sending thier children to good schools in India.

I am bracing up for my daughter getting anywhere near university gates. As long as she gets admission in one of her choices it is great here.
Here the seats in Univ . is a problem.. and it is somehow a must for a good job.<b>Any comment on this scenario?</b>

My son has long time and he is more or less canadian( by style) ... so no problem.

A little digression...
I want some info on getting a kid admitted to UK schools . The parents have a work visa for working in EU country ( Italy) for last six years.
If somebody can guide about it the procedure and cost etc.

Main reason is to avoid the kids having to learn italian and no english in Italy.

It may be true that primary education is better in India because kids are kept under pressure in schools and are forced to learn......But why most scientists are produced by western world and not in India (don't tell me lot of Indians are very successful in this field in North America.....most of them were educated here).....I think suppressive tactics used in India in school produces baboos (as desired by British rulers in olden days and we continue with same system till now)........
