It is advantageous. A factory worker with a laptop is more impressive than a factory worker without laptop. It helps to build the corporate image

When it is snowy, you can use laptop to balance yourself while walking on a slippery snow

When you are lucky enough to have your own internet connection, you can use your laptop to visit sites of sears and bay, and fantasize yourself sitting on a sofa made by Sears or sleeping on a bed sold by Bay

When you are frustrated after e-mailing your resume for 1001th time, you can relieve your frustration by banging the laptop on the wall

And if you need food, you can sell your laptop and buy a donut and coffee from Tim Hortons
