I came to Canada in 2001 and I did my Masters degree in engineering. I recently finished my degree. I have customer service exp. and sales exp. from Canada also. I am think If anyone can advise me about a good place to settle or find a work in Canada. I don;t want to move to Toronto as it is already saturated. I am thinking of Calgary or Vancouver.. but have no idea where to go. Right now I am in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Its a small city with no hopes....as it is mostly white dominated. You hardly find any colored person here.
Please advise.
Toronto is where the most jobs and opportunities are.
Most of the other cities are specific to certain industries and job categories - like Calgary for oil and mining jobs, Vancouver for construction, transportation and real estate, Halifax for medical and educational jobs, etc.
Toronto has a good mixture of all industries.
You have to choose between a saturated place with more opportunities and a smaller town with less opportunities.
