Use Parle G Atta and you will never use any other brand..you can make roti, parantha, puri as delicious as we made back home. It comes from India so Indian wheat is used. It does not stay long in the fridge..turns black in 2 days after kneading so knead only as much as you need for one or two meals.

Work is forever. Childhood is only once. Spend time with your kids...
Keep roti or paratha and microwave fo 20 to 25 seconds. I never got smell from my microwave heated roti.

I was told that Golden temple atta has lot of maida in it which will make you gain weight. Ironically the advisor was overweight inspite of NOT using Golden Temple atta.....Go Figure!
Golden Template has 3 different colour bags - the purple, the red and the yellow.
The red and the yellow is basically "enriched" flour, while the purple one is whole wheat flour.
Enriched flour is basically denatured and has the synthetic vitamins added to it.
If you want your chapatis and parathas to be smooth and easy to make (like India), go for the red bag.
However, remember that it is not the healthiest choice.
If you want a healthier flour, go for the purple bag.
But with this, the rotis will be "rubbery" and sticky, which is because it is a whole wheat flour.
Hope this helps.
