One of the employee from my company recently got a job in For McMurray, Alberta. He was offered 2.5 times the salary he was getting in Toronto. He was Chemical Engineer.

I just wanted to share this info with CDs. As per him the weather is extreme there. It is -35 degree just now. However they provide good facilities to attract people to stay in the Oil rich region. Every second weekend is long week-end. Yearly 20 vacation days and so on.

They do people hunting all over the world and many times hire people direcly from gulf, china, russia etc.
