Transcripts sealed with Univ Stamp ?
Kindly advise procedure to procure this requirement . What are transcripts ? How do we approach the University in India from USA ? Is the University Degree in original not enough ? How much time does it take for Indian university to process such a request ?

Transcripts are your yearly or semester wise marksheet with detail description of all the courses taken mediam (english or others)and marks obtained to complete a perticular degree.
To get sealed transcript from your college you have to pay the fee(amount depend on the college).You can write to you college to send you the transcripts & pay the postage along with the fee they will send it to you.it will take about a month or two again depend on the college.

Getting transcripts from India could become a difficult situation when espcially you are in the USA and you need these from your University.

Thankfully for me, I had a cousin who volunteered to make a few trips to the University and after a month or so mailed me the transcripts. But the whole things works better if you have someone you rely on would help you out. It's a real pain though!

Dont you get the Semester results at the end of each semester in some format? At least i used to get them..these Marksheets can substitute for Transcripts, I and my friends all of them submitted the same and it had no issues..I would say Marksheets can support the same

You need to get these certified by Notary thats most Important.

Can you please give me the format of all notarized copies?

what exctly the notary does, where does he put seal etc?
Can you please write in detail?

there's no format for a notarized stuff.

a notary just stamps on the photocopy/prints of the original document to assure the concerned organiztion that the photocopy/prints are same as the original doc. and have not been tampered with.
