Hello,
I am a Chartered Accountant from India, and intend to pursue the CGA course.
To obtain transfer credit for courses completed outside Canada, CGA requires the below;
"Original foreign transcripts must be provided directly from the post secondary institution to the CGA Ontario office. An official notarized translation (if university will not provide transcripts in English) can be submitted by the student; however the official non-translated copy must come directly to CGA Ontario."
I sent an online inquiry to the CA institute India last week requesting the procedure to get the above done, but there was no response.
Any CD on the forum, who have gone through this process can please advice.

Have you spoken to the CGA institute here? I do not know whether it is a new requirement or was always there. For me, I simply took all my originals to their office where the lady at the reception took photocopies and certified them herself. I think they are more interested in getting the money for evaluation (I think it is about $300).
If you have not spoken to them, I would suggest you do.

It is a new requiement. Now CGA needs all of the transcripts etc should come directly from the Institution at back home.
