# of positions: 3 (One Lead DW Support Consultant, Two DW Support Consultants)
Duration: 6 months initial commitment, with extension possibility to 3 years.
Rate: Lead DW Support Consultant USD 35/hr. (all inclusive).
DW Support Consultant USD 30/hr. (all inclusive)

DESCRIPTION:

The following list is representative and not all inclusive:

PRODUCTION SUPPORT:

• Provide Tier 2 (fix when break) support in all key Enterprise Finance Information Warehouse technology components
• Interact with Tier 1, internal groups and Third party vendors to resolve issues and elevate/escalate problems to Tier 3, following an agreed escalation process
• Monitor system performance, availability and respond to system alerts.
• Track and publish monthly production and problem resolution metrics.

OPERATION SUPPORT:

• Perform normal day-to-day maintenance as per agreed schedule
• Perform monthly closing activities including data validation
• Execute in-demand requests
• Conduct release management/promotion processes from test to production environment


REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proven expertise in UNIX scripting
• Experience in Oracle 8i, 9i Administration
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in technical support environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
• 3+ yrs. of related experience as a technical/functional consultant


Candidates must meet requirements for a TN Visa (must be a Canadian citizen, degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, +3 years industry experience)
