I am a landed immigrate at Toronto, due to climatic conditions we are now planning to reside at Vancouver. I have my list to follow stamped at the airport at Toronto. Will I have a problem as I will take my goods as per the stamp list to follow goods at Vancouver. Thanks for help
Dear Mohan,
I am also residing in UAE and have applied for immigration in Jan last year. Could you please advice how long did it take for you to get interview advice/waiver? Also, how was your post landing experience?
Thanks & regards
Zain

Hello Mohan,
We too landed in Toronto last year and will be moving to Vancouver from Dubai in June. You could call me on my mobile 6531970 (in UAE) and we could exchange views/ notes.
In fact, when we landed in Toronto the customs officer specifically refused to accept my list of unaccompanied goods inspite of telling him that I had a list ready and that I was aware such a list is to be handed over upon landing. She just waved me / us (family) on.
When we visited Vancouver after a few days, I went to the Customs there and I informed them about the Toronto officer's response. I was allowed to submit my list to Customs at their Vancouver City office where they stamped it. I am hoping there is no issue upon our arrival this summer (mid-august).
Regards,
