Hello friends,
I m Ashutosh awaiting my VISA, i would like to know the Income Tax structure in Toronto, say for eg. one earns $25000/* in a yr. what is the % of tax he needs to pay. Is he also liable to pay tax to the Indian Govt. if he has not opted the citizenship of canada.
I have heard its almost 20% of the income u earn in canada.
pls gimme ur expert advise to me.

Tax rate depends on ur tax bracket which depends on ur salary

Before u exit india, u will need to pay all ur taxes and will need a tax clearance certificate. They may check that at the airport.
After u land in canada, u will be a PR, and will pay taxes to Canadian govt. For the income earned in Canada, u dont pay a dime to the Indian govt, even if ur still a indian citizen.
