Hi,

I have gathered all the documents and have printed the forms. I have few question:

1. Do I need to submit notorized copies of all the documents
2. PCC and IELTS TRF are needed in original?
3. My wifes passport has her maiden last name, will this pose any problem. I have got marriage certificate.
4. How to complie the file. Shall I gather all the docuemnts and then attach the checklist, put it all in a folder, write my name on it and send it.
5. Can i submit it in person or through courier. CIC Delhi provides a PO BOX and courier dont deliver on PO BOX.

If anybody could provide scanned images of their application forms it would be highly appreciated.

Pls let me answer your questions sequentially :

1. There is no need to get your documents notarised.
2. Yes, these are the only two documents needed in originals.
3. No problem..the authorities will accept the marraige documents..but at some stage you will need to get her passport name changed..
4. Yes..that should be fine..
5. You should courier it preferably thru a courier company where you can get to know thru the net whether the pack has been delivered..all the bigger cos like dhl, dtdc have this facility...all these companies know where the canada high commission is in new delhi...

I hope I have answered all your queries...

There is no need for attaching IELTS result sheet also if you can prove
you are good in english. But most of people attach IELTS to make their application more strong.
I would suggest you to get notorized ( from a foreign documents authorized notory) each and every doccument attached along your application.
This makes your information supplied more authentic. and may
result in a interview waiver.
I hope you get my point. It would take some of your money and effort
and may give you some advantage.

In some other thread I had mentioned of notorizing all the document copies. My mistake. Now I remember that all documents are to be signed by the owner of documnets to attest they are true. Self attesting of documents. Also it is a good idea to compile documents in proper manner and dont' forget to include job discribtion & IELTS score. Because these a re the 2 factors they want to evaluate at interview. If evaluator of your file is able to understand all documents why would he want to waste your or his time by calling for interview.

I do not agree with PREET74.

One of the most important document in the immigration process is the IELTS exam results..This is an independent exam conducted by the British Council and in most cases if you fall within the relevant band, the immigration officer will normally tend to waive the interview..If you do not include the IELTS results along with your package, the Delhi High Commission normally returns the package..provided you give a written explanation of your command over the english language. It is very likely then that the immigration officer will call for an interview. This will delay the case unnecessarily..you know the current waiting period as per the canadian website for new delhi is 58 months.

Also documents need not be notarised..Pls go thru the website http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK ( the official canadain immigration website ) and no where is it given that documents are to be notarised.

Best Regards,
