Border Post Question

Guys finally after a long wait I've got the Visa for PR. My D-Day is sometime by the First week of May 2005 to Mississauga(hope I spelled it right)
I'm planning to Drive from Atlanta & land driving my own car & goods in a Trailer through Buffalo/Niagara falls. Is there any specific Bridge I'm supposed to Land ? Looks like there are 2 or 3 Bridges/Border Post around Buffalo looking at the US border post web site.
I'll keep updating my experience as I move along. I'm still reading lots of usefull posts of folks who have moved to make a well informed & planned move.

Any Border posts that is open is okay for landing . generally go to the one that is 24 hrs open to avoid any delays and inconvenience

Since you mentioned that you are landing in your own car, make sure that you fax your title to the US Customs Rainbow bridge at least 3 business days in advance and call to confirm if they received a legible copy. Also you can import a vehicle only through the Rainbow bridge Monday - Friday ( 8 - 4 ), something they dont tell you when you call them for info.

I found it the hard way when I landed at 4.15 on a Friday afternon and had to drive back.

Thanks for the immediate replies folks.

I am also considering to land through Ambassador Bridge , Detroit. Has anybody in the forum done the landing & imported a car throught this Bridge ?

Where from we can get details, that which border is open 24 hrs ??
